BUSINESS EQUIPMENT UNLIMITED WINS GLOBAL IMAGING FOUNDER'S AWARD
PORTLAND, Me./TAMPA, Fl., June 23 -- Portland-based Business Equipment Unlimited (BEU), a division of Global Imaging Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: GISX), recently won the Founder's Trophy at the 10th Annual Global Leaders Conference. The Founder's Trophy is awarded annually to the non-core company with the best performance for the previous year.
Tom Johnson, chairman and CEO of Global Imaging Systems, said, "BEU has been one of our top performers since joining Global in 1996. They reported strong revenue and operating profit that were well over budget."
