Global Imaging Systems Appoints Salierno CEO - Thursday, February 02, 2012
TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 2, 2012 – Global Imaging Systems (GIS), A Xerox Company (NYSE: XRX), has appointed Tom Salierno as chief executive officer.

Salierno, succeeds Michael Shea, 64, CEO of GIS since 2005.  Shea has been named executive chairman of the company and will help lead the management transition.

Prior to the CEO appointment, Salierno, 57, was executive vice president of Corporate Operations for GIS.  He joined the company in 2008 to lead the company’s distribution expansion through the acquisitions of local office technology dealers across the U.S.

Before joining Global Imaging, which was acquired by Xerox in 2007, Salierno worked in the document technology industry for more than 30 years.
